September 15 – 17th 2017: The project Phare was officially launched with the organization of the workshop: Le plancton ce n’est pas que pour les baleines (the plankton is not only for Whales) during the « Heritage Days » :  The Grande Traversée,  held on September 15th and 17th 2017.

October 2017: The delegation of CCLA is visiting the Observatory of Plankton in Port Louis.

January 17th 2018 : a training session was organised at Musée Lac et Nature by Céline Prissimitzis and Sonia Baillot for all teachers in primary schools interested to participate to the project Erasmus. How to use the microscopes specially ordered by CCLA and the school of Novalaise for the project? How and where to fish the plancton? What is possible to observe?

Day long Sciences and Art workshops organised with  schools of CCLA, on a voluntary base:

March 30th 2018  » Sciences & Arts » workshop to observe the fishes in the Lake, Visit of the Aiguebelette fishfarm organized by  Julien Schneider (Aappma) and Art laboratory to design the fishes with Nathalie Beaufays. Two classrooms involved: Lépin Le Lac school (17 pupils (CE2/CM1/CM2) , teacher Mrs Paquet and Dullin School (CP/CE 1 (19 children), teacher Mrs Prieur.

April 27th 2018    » Sciences & Arts » workshop to discover the plankton, Plankton Fishing in plage Bonvent, Visit of the museum Lac et nature, overvation of plankton at microscope with Céline Prissimitzis: Art laboratories to work on plankton transparency with  Nathalie Beaufays. Two classrooms involved: Dullin School (CP/CE 1 (19 children), teacher Mrs Prieur and Maternelle grande section(13 children), teacher Mrs Brosselun.

May 25th  2018  » Sciences & Arts » workshop to observe the birds around the Lake, organized by  Sébastien Durlin (Seve) and Art laboratory to design the birds with Nathalie Beaufays. Two classrooms involved: Dullin School (CP/CE 1 (19 children), teacher Mrs Prieur and Maternelle grande section(13 children), teacher Mrs Brosselun.

2,5 hours Sciences and Art workshops organised by association FAPLA for the children in Museum Lac et nature.
All workshops include the observation of plankton on microscope.
April 11th 2018 : creation of a giant and mobile Art craft  «The danse of Plankton»
April 25th 2018 : creation of a giant and luminous Art craft «Plankton and transparency»
May 16th 2018 : creation of a giant interlocking Art craft «The Food Chain»
All artcrafts produced during the year by the children are part of an exhibition inaugurared during the Science Highlight at Maison du Lac.
May 29th-June 2nd 2018 : Sciences Highlight : CCLA has organized a week entirely dedicated to plankton and to Phare project.
Wednesday May 30th :
  • Science trip on lake with INRA technicians from 10am to 12am, to understand better all analyses performed to assess water quality, including plankton sampling
  • Science workshop open to the population, supervised by the secondary school students of Céline Prissimitzis  (club plankton)
  • Conference by Pierre Mollo

Thursday May 30th -Friday June 1st : Phare project transnational meeting

Friday June 1st: Catering with plankton concluding the annual concert of Vocalaise

Saturday June 2th :

  • Conference by Frederic Rimet from INRA
  • Catering with plankton served after the conference
  • Science workshop open to the population
